One of the main advantages of Tulum when compared to other cities is, not only its relaxed atmosphere and virgin beaches, but the fact that there are no big buildings and skyscrapers since the local government requires shops, hotels and specially all businesses located near the beach to keep the same standards in architecture and use eco friendly materials, recycle water, etc. This is not only to preserve the environment but also species, for instance, during the turtle nesting seasons, which runs from May to October, turtles could be attracted by light from fires or hotels.
Tulum is located near incredible attractions, such as cenotes, turtle beaches like Akumal, nightlife spots like Playa del Carmen, ruins like Chichen Itza or Koba, but most importantly you will have access to one of the most beautiful beaches in the world!
